The coils have different numbers of turns of copper wire, allowing students to investigate the relationship between voltage and number of turns, showing how transformers work etc. 

A range of sturdy, Science Lab India mounted coils, designed for use with laminated C cores and clips. 

They can also be used to demonstrate electromagnetic induction (Faraday’s law).
